Southside Partnership Workshop - Introduction to Self-Employment
Are you unemployed and living in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown? Would you like to know more about becoming self-employed?
Topics covered will include: Moving from ‘Social Welfare’ to self-employment; Business structures; Introduction to the Business Plan and Personal management strategies for business owners.
This workshop is being delivered by Peter Cronin, Managing Director and Lead Trainer of Ardú.
Peter has over 25 years of business & personal development training experience. Most of that with start-ups, particularly the BTWEA client. Peter’s style is facilitative and utilizes collaborative adult learning styles rather than old style chalk and talk.
Peter is heavily involved in Mentoring and Business Coaching for start-ups and micro enterprises. He is a regular contributor to the Up Starts programme on Dublin City fm. He has written and delivered training in Business, finance, communication, facilitation, leadership, management & tendering among many topics and has a track record of writing successful proposals for C/E schemes and working with Partnerships nationwide.
As places are limited you must book in advance and meet a Southside Partnership staff member to register prior to the training date. Please contact Esther McGearty to arrange a registration meeting: (01) 706 0100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Priority for this workshop will be given to those currently in receipt of a DEASP / ‘Social Welfare’ type payment.
